Product-Qualified Lead (PQL) Conversion Rate
Percentage of users identified as product-qualified (based on usage signals) who convert to a paid customer
What is Product-Qualified Lead (PQL) Conversion Rate?
Product-qualified lead (PQL) conversion rate is the percentage of PQLs that become paying customers. A PQL is a user whose product usage shows they are likely to buy.
Because PQLs are identified from real use, they tend to convert well, and the rate shows whether the qualification rules are working.

How to calculate it
Divide PQLs converting to paid by total PQLs identified, and multiply by 100.
For example, if 300 PQLs were identified and 90 became customers, the rate is 30%.
Define a PQL from behaviour, such as reaching a usage milestone or inviting colleagues, and revisit the definition using data on who actually buys.
