Sourcing Channel Effectiveness
Percentage of successful hires attributed to each recruitment channel (job boards, referrals, agencies, LinkedIn)
What is Sourcing Channel Effectiveness?
Sourcing channel effectiveness is the share of hires that come from each recruitment channel. It shows which sources actually produce new employees.
Knowing where hires come from helps invest in the channels that work and cut those that do not.

How to calculate it
For each channel, divide hires from that channel by total hires, and multiply by 100.
For example, if 200 hires included 60 from referrals, 50 from job boards, 40 from agencies, 30 from the company website and 20 from other sources, the shares are 30%, 25%, 20%, 15% and 10%.
Record the source for every hire, and compare cost and quality by channel, not only volume.
