Influencer / Creator Content ROI
Revenue or pipeline attributed to influencer and creator content relative to total spend on that content
What is Influencer / Creator Content ROI?
Influencer and creator content ROI compares the revenue or pipeline attributed to influencer content with what was spent on it. It shows whether influencer marketing pays for itself.
Because influencer spend can be large and attribution difficult, a clear return measure helps decide which creators and campaigns to keep.

How to calculate it
Divide the revenue or pipeline attributed to influencer content by the total influencer spend. The result can be quoted as a multiple or, after multiplying by 100, as a percentage, so state which you use.
For example, if 60,000 of sales was attributed to a campaign that cost 20,000, the return is 60,000 / 20,000 = 3, or 300%.
Use tracked links, discount codes and surveys to attribute sales, and include all costs such as fees and free product.

How to improve it
Tips and common mistakes
- Not all value is direct. Some content builds awareness that is hard to trace.
- Codes and links capture only part of the impact.
- Check that revenue is new, not existing customers using a code.
