Content Production Cycle Time
Average days from content brief to published or broadcast-ready content
What is Content Production Cycle Time?
Content production cycle time is the average number of days from commissioning a piece of content to delivering it. It shows how quickly a media or content team produces work.
Shorter cycles let organisations respond to trends and use resources better.

How to calculate it
Add up the days from commission to delivery across pieces delivered and divide by the number of pieces.
For example, if 20 pieces took a combined 400 days, the average cycle time is 20 days.
Split by content type, since a short article and a documentary differ, and look at time spent at each stage.
