Product Adoption Rate
Percentage of licensed users actively using the product, indicating engagement and churn risk
What is Product Adoption Rate?
Product adoption rate is the percentage of licensed users who actively use a product each month. It shows how well customers are taking up what they have bought.
Licences that go unused put renewals at risk, so adoption is one of the best early signs of customer health.

How to calculate it
Divide monthly active users by total licensed users, and multiply by 100.
For example, if 700 of 1,000 licensed users were active this month, adoption is 70%.
Define active carefully, for example logging in and performing a key action, and track by account, since some customers adopt far better than others.
