Number of Outbound Activities
Total volume of outbound touchpoints (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages) made in a period
What is Number of Outbound Activities?
Number of outbound activities is the total of outbound calls, emails and social touches a sales team makes in a period. It is the basic volume measure of prospecting effort.
Activity does not guarantee results, but too little activity almost always leads to too little pipeline.

How to calculate it
Add up all outbound calls, emails and social touches in the period.
For example, if reps made 3,000 calls, sent 6,000 emails and made 1,000 social touches, the total is 10,000.
Break it down by type and rep, and read it with conversion measures so activity is linked to results.
