Inbound Lead Volume
Total number of raw inbound leads generated across all marketing channels in a period
What is Inbound Lead Volume?
Inbound lead volume is the number of new leads captured in a period before any qualification. These are people who came to the business, for example through a form, call or chat.
It shows the top of the funnel: how much interest marketing is generating. It is a leading indicator, since leads today turn into opportunities and revenue later.

How to calculate it
Count all new inbound leads captured in the period, before qualification.
For example, if 1,450 people submitted forms, called or chatted in a month, the volume is 1,450.
Remove duplicates and obvious spam, and record the source for each lead. Track alongside qualification measures, since volume without quality has limited value.
