In-Store Activation Rate
Percentage of planned in-store point-of-sale (POS) activations that are executed correctly and on time
What is In-Store Activation Rate?
In-store activation rate is the percentage of planned in-store marketing activations that were carried out correctly. Activations include displays, promotions and sampling.
A great campaign fails if it is not executed properly in stores, so this measure shows how reliably the plan reaches the shop floor.

- (In-store activations executed correctly / Total planned activations) × 100
How to calculate it
Divide the in-store activations executed correctly by the total planned activations, and multiply by 100.
For example, if 400 activations were planned and 340 were executed to standard, the rate is (340 / 400) x 100 = 85%.
Define the standard clearly, such as correct position, signage and stock. Check through photos, audits or visits.
