Delivery in Full On Time (DIFOT)
Percentage of deliveries made in full and on the date committed to the customer
What is Delivery in Full On Time (DIFOT)?
Delivery in full on time (DIFOT) is the percentage of deliveries that arrive both complete and on the promised date. It is a strict measure of how well a supply chain keeps its promises.
Because it needs both conditions to be met, it is tougher and more honest than measuring timeliness or completeness alone.

How to calculate it
Divide deliveries that were both in full and on time by total deliveries, and multiply by 100.
For example, if 920 of 1,000 deliveries were complete and on time, DIFOT is 92%.
Define on time and in full precisely, such as within an agreed window and matching the order quantity, and record failures by reason.
