Partner Portal Engagement Rate
Percentage of active partners logging into and using the partner portal (accessing content, submitting deals, completing training) in a period
What is Partner Portal Engagement Rate?
Partner portal engagement rate is the percentage of active partners who log in or take an action on the partner portal in a period. It shows whether partners are using the resources provided for them.
A portal that partners do not use cannot help them sell, so engagement is a leading indicator of how well the partner programme is supporting the channel.

- (Partners with ≥1 portal login or action / Total active partners) × 100
How to calculate it
Divide the number of partners with at least one login or action by the total number of active partners, and multiply by 100.
For example, if 120 of 200 active partners logged in or downloaded something this month, the rate is (120 / 200) x 100 = 60%.
Define which actions count and separate simple logins from meaningful activity, such as registering a deal or downloading a campaign.

Tips and common mistakes
- A login alone is a weak signal. Track meaningful actions too.
- Ask partners what they need, rather than guessing.
- Segment by partner tier, since expectations differ.
