What is Email Open Rate?

How to calculate it
Divide emails opened by emails sent, and multiply by 100.
For example, if 2,000 emails were sent and 800 were opened, the rate is 40%.
Open tracking has become less reliable because some email programs load messages automatically, so use it as a guide and look at replies as well.
